Born in Malaysia, Chin came to Melbourne to study high school in 1995. Chin completed his degree in Accounting and Finance in Monash University Clayton Campus in 2000. He also married Lynn in 2000 and together they have three children - Josephine, Ivan and Isaac. Chin has first worked for tax agents for 10 years, and later as a Corporate Finance Manager for 8 years. He then ventured into a few businesses which included Crust pizza franchise, a cafe and tax agent partnership.
In mid- 2021 Chin felt the Lord’s calling to pursue a new season in ministry and joined the Clayton Church of Christ Fellowship in the capacity of a Business Operations Director and Accountant managing finance and operations. He moved over to CLIC to assume the role of OPS Administrator in mid-2022.
In his spare time, Chin loves to listen to music and watch movies. He also enjoys a good meal and is always game to try new food.
