You are invited to join us in our special combined English and Mandarin service this Sunday, 10th November 2024 as we commission our team who will be going on mission to Chiangmai, Thailand from the 2 - 9th January 2025.
Do continue to uphold the precious members of the team: Ivan, Caleb, Bryan, Eddy, Grace, Phoebe, Claire and pastor Kenny as they continue their preparations for the trip.
Our focus this quarter is on the ministry of pastor Ken Teo - ReGen Ministries.
ReGen Ministries was birthed in the heart of pastor Ken Teo, the founding pastor of CLIC, on the 25th August 2004. It is a faith ministry committed to serving this generation through ministry, equipping and encouragement of people, churches and organisations within Australia and across the nations.
It is CLIC’s privilege to walk with pastor Ken and his wonderful family - Carol and Claire) as he continues to step out in faith through the doors that the Lord is opening to him. It is a challenge as he responds to the prompting of the Holy Spirit to an itinerant role in ministry. It is different from his previous role as Senior Pastor at CLIC but the Lord has been faithful as he has ministered in many churches here in Victoria as well as in Australia and overseas.
For example, doors were opened for pastor Ken to conduct a Holy Spirit Workshop with the SOZOLIFE Ministries team in Chiangmai, Thailand this year. There were also opportunities to help build and strengthen the village churches in the surrounding mountain areas of Sarangani, Southern Philippines. In this past year, there have been a Youth Empowerment camp as well as Christmas evangelistic and healing rallies where the Lord moved in powerful and miraculous ways.
It is our privilege to commend ReGen Ministries to you as by the Grace of God, this ministry moves forward by faith to impact this generation until our Lord returns! May we all, as individuals as well as a church, continue to support him (and his precious family) prayerfully and financially as he continues to serve our heavenly Father.

Our focus this Quarter is on pastors Dakhota and Kareena and their ministry SozoLife in Thailand.
We were delighted to have pastors Dakhota and Kareena (along with Daveeda, Kaleb & Arden*) to be present to share with the curch on aspects of their ministry on Sunday, May 19th, during our English service.
Furthermore, we were so encouraged and challenged by them being able to meet up with the Missions Team (MT 25) and to spend some time with them in setting the ground work for the upcoming collaboration in 2025.
[*unfortunately their eldest son Joshuwa has been unable to travel with the family on their furlough]

This year OBC Tamil and Sinhala celebrated their certificate ceremony over a family camp weekend. Students and their families were invited to a time of fellowship, worship and celebration for the milestones they have achieved over the year.
OBC Myanmar celebrated their 20th graduation last month. We received news that fighting could erupt with political tensions in the main cities due to the mandatory issue of young people male and female 18-30 years old into military service. While many people were desperate to get their loved ones out of the country, our team and students chose to celebrate God's goodness. Praise God for a successful graduation ceremony where no one got hurt. Please continue to pray for OBC Myanmar, our students and their families.
