Blessed New Year, Church!
As we step into 2025, I invite you to pause and reflect on the blessings God has given you. For me, I am most grateful to the Lord for my family and for all of you, my church family. Yesterday. I did this gratitude exercise with my family via a video call; my heart was immediately filled with thankfulness to the Lord. Take a moment to count your blessings one by one, and you will find your heart overflowing with gratitude, giving all the glory to God for His goodness and grace in your life.
This year, our focus at church will be on “Enjoying the Presence of God,” inspired by Joshua 1:8-9. The Lord promises never to leave us; He is always with us, for His name is Emmanuel. May we learn to find joy in walking with the Lord and delighting in His presence daily. For the Lord rewards those who earnestly seek Him. Let us prioritise seeking His presence in the year 2025, for in Christ alone can our souls find true satisfaction.
To those among us facing struggles or enduring difficult times, trust in the Lord, even when your heart feels uncertain. Hold tightly to His hand and do not fear, for the Lord is with you. Remember, the Lord is your Saviour, not only for eternal life but also as a deliverer in every aspect of your life. For the Lord is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble. As you seek His presence, may you find renewed hope and courage for the days ahead.
May 2025 be a year where we as a church grow deeper in our love for God, experience His presence more fully, and walk in His purpose for our lives.
I pray for abundant blessings for you and your families and look forward to journeying together as we live for His glory.
May the Lord bless you and keep you,
May His face shine upon you and be gracious to you,
May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.
With the love of Christ,
Kenny
