Beautiful Feet

 “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

Let’s be honest—when I think of feet, “beautiful” probably isn’t the first word that comes to mind. In fact, the first word that comes to my mind when I think of feet is smelly!  Yet here in Romans 10:15, Paul says, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

Why would Apostle Paul say this? My guess is, Paul is not describing the feet themselves but the message they carry. These are the feet that walk into seemingly ordinary daily routines bringing words of encouragement, acts of love, and the message of Christ. It’s not the feet that are beautiful; it’s the purpose they serve and the message they deliver.

Maybe you think, “I’m not good enough,” or “What if I don’t know what to say?” The truth is, sharing the good news doesn’t have to be overwhelming. It starts with simple, small steps—praying for your unsaved family members, showing an act of kindness to a friend, extending an invitation to this Sunday’s outreach event. These small steps of love reflect God’s heart and open doors for the Lord to work in ways we cannot imagine. When we are willing to take even these baby steps, God is the one who makes our feet beautiful.

As we come into this season of Christmas with all its attendant activities, let’s be those with “beautiful feet,” ready and willing to carry the good news of Jesus Christ to those around us

In His Love;
